Studying a language is an investment. How do you maximise your investments in other areas of your life? The answer is with great research, careful attention, and consistency. This is the exact same approach you should take to your English learning.
Before you begin to think of how to approach your studies and from what angle, the first thing you need to get clear on is your goal. Why are you learning English? What is it going to help you achieve, reach, experience?
This is the essential first question to ask because this helps you paint a clear mental image of manifestation and visualise your goal with clarity.
Make sure to be specific about your goal because this will help you maintain responsibility for your ambition. Do not simply say, “My goal is to be fluent in English”. This will bore you; this will not motivate you.
Instead, try searching your intentions for something like this:
“My goal is to be fluent in English so that I can open my business to an international market within two years…” or,
“I want to improve my English fluency to communicate and express myself, to understand people and the world more deeply…” or,
“I want to face my fear of speaking English so that I can travel with freedom and eventually immigrate to that country that my heart yearns for…”.
Get clear. Be specific.
