Who are my English students?

My students are my clients and receive top-level care and treatment. Their goals vary massively, and this means that our time together ranges from months to years, depending on their objectives and schedules. The benefits of understanding and using English to your advantage are plentiful and my clients instinctively know this, no matter their existing level when beginning classes.

The variety of students that I have taught continues to fascinate me. People contact me from so many different countries, all of them with different reasons for wanting to increase their English aptitude. Most of my students begin with an A2 – B1 level and together we work in a stimulating way to increase their proficiency. Here is a list of the top-rated reasons why most of my students wish to further their education in English:

  • To increase job opportunities and promotions.
  • To travel to English speaking countries with confidence and self-assurance.
  • To provide better opportunities for their children on a global scale.
  • To prepare for specific official examinations – Cambridge exams most commonly.
  • To do translation or editing work on articles, documents, curriculums, or theses.

I will accommodate your specific needs no matter what they are.

I have taught children as young as six and adults as old as seventy-four. I have worked with surgeons, architects, software developers, web designers, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home parents, teachers, product developers, real-estate developers, lawyers, economists, physiotherapists, children… the list goes on.

For the sake of scope, and to show you that your personal English goals are attainable, here are just some of the objectives I have helped past and current students to achieve: Doctors needing to translate academic papers; lawyers looking to increase their international credibility; stay-at-home moms and retired professionals keen on a new hobby; architects requiring help with presentations and conceptualisations; nervous teenagers needing to pass various types of English exams; teachers developing new curriculums; university students needing to translate their precious theses into English; children who were scared to learn a new language but now joyfully express themselves in English.

These are just a handful of examples highlighting the sterling objectives my students' and I have achieved together. To this day many of them are now treasured friends, each of them a success story of their own!

And do not worry about your existing level being low, even if you are an A1 English student who can’t string a sentence together. There are many methods and accurate translators that we can use in class to help understand each other. I promise to make you feel comfortable and relaxed along the journey to your higher-level English goals!
